While I've never been a HUGE fan of Moroccan themed rooms,
this bath or should I say spa retreat, says take me away, take me to Massachusetts?
residing in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. By the way, before this project Blood never designed anything Moroccan inspired, thus he had to do a little research.
Blood took to the books, reading, scanning and noting important facts,
the most important being "Islamic design is all about one space unfolding into another...."
And after several months this is what came to be.

Beyond the tile work, I love the vanity cabinetry...what are your thoughts?
Would yo u go for something so intricate? Could you live with a Moroccan bath?

Gooooorgeous, the details in the tiles are AMAZING! Def looks like a spa, I would spend more time in the bath if I had tiles like these :)
ReplyDeleteI love Moroccan rooms but I couldn't live with the tile in my own personal space
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I think I'd get sick of it in my own home, but a smaller dose (like that square feature above the bath) would be welcome.
